Wild Target

Wild Target (2009) is a film with a script based on the French film Cible Emouvante that stars Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt. The story concerns a hit man, Victor, played by Nighy who is given the job of killing Rose, a con artist and theif played by Emily Blunt. He fails to kill her, winds up saving her life and the two collect Tony, played by Rupert Grint and go into hiding from the man who payed Victor.

It’s fun, predictable but well done cinema. All the leads do an excellent job. The film’s humour isn’t quite strong enough to carry the film but it’s not a bad way to spend an hour and a half.
