Skios

Skios (2012) by Michael Frayn is a comedy based on the idea of mistaken identity at a meeting of intellectuals and various successful people set on a Greek island.
The setting is clever, the plethora of conferences of this type and their self-satisfied blather and the idea that people are looking for glib positive ideas is certainly rich ground for a clever farce. However this book isn’t it. It’s not terrible, but it doesn’t work.
