Cat’s Cradle

Cat’s Cradle (1963) by Kurt Vonnegut is one of Vonnegut’s best known and well liked books. The book has a metaphor for nuclear weapons and one of Vonnegut’s thought up religions. It really didn’t grab me. The tricks, the attitude and all the rest seemed to be the usual thing for Vonnegut. The Sirens of Titan and Slaughterhouse 5 appealed far more.
